A Family Practice

 Rick J. Erickson is the President and Founder of Erickson Law Office, Ltd. and has been practicing law in Des Plaines, Illinois for over 35 years. Rick completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois (Champaign) in 1974 and earned his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in 1977. After graduating law school, Rick practiced as a partner with two northwest suburban law firms - Samelson, Knickerbocker & Erickson from 1978-1985 and Tuttle, Vedral, Collins & Erickson from 1985-1999. In 1999, Rick incorporated Rick J. Erickson, Ltd as a sole practitioner. He was joined by his son, Mark, in 2013 to form Erickson Law Office. Rick has built his real estate driven law practice through a valued client base and strong referral network.

Rick is a Member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association. 

 Mark J.T. Erickson joined Rick J. Erickson, Ltd. as an Associate in 2013, after 4 years of practice with an estate planning and probate law firm in downtown Chicago. Mark completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University in 2005, and received his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in 2009. Mark partnered with his father in 2015, forming Erickson Law Office, Ltd. Mark has provided significant contributions towards the growth of the practice, focusing primarily in the area of real estate transactions, condominium law, and commercial litigation.

Mark is a Member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.
